A Google Plus Creature
Google Plus shutting down in April 2019
I’ve been wondering how to recap my seven years on Google plus, so here I am:
No recap
No regrets
No mentions
My short story.
In 1990 I was standing in a long queue holding a coupon to be able to get milk for my one-year-old daughter. The shop was completely empty and dark as 100% of the shops at that time in my country. 100 people were waiting together with me at 4 am in the morning. Beside me on the same queue was the father of another one-year-old.
In 2018 I crossed the ocean and was a guest in the US house of this family, I once got to know on the queue at 4 am in the morning. The one-year-old is teaching medieval history in the University now. Her soul mate ( my daughter) is finishing her masters in University.
What’s this story has to do with Google Plus?
Nothing. It’s like the life-affirming stories of many other awesome people who made the Global Google Plus Community and became part of a mind-transforming online culture.
Everything. It can’t become a shared experience any longer by anybody else never ever, at least not in the Google Plus way we know.
Google Plus was not measured by books written, exhibitions and events organized not even by the number of followers ( even some of us were deluded how those mattered).
Google Plus is the live experience online, the unique web navigation mastery of discovery and reinventing what we care about and ourselves in the first place.
„And life still goes on!“
Find me across networks by the same name. It’s who I am continuing to be – a Google Plus Creature. I’m GSuite Nina Trankova

How to set up multiroom music playback with Google Home speakers
Tunes in all your rooms
One of the great advantages of having several Google Home speakers is the ability to play the same music throughout your house. Let’s say you’re cleaning the house, and you want to be able to move from the upstairs bedrooms to the downstairs living room without missing a beat. It’s really simple to set up, and it’s worth the five minutes it takes.

Looking Back
Most of us start each day looking at a reflection looking back at us from a bathroom mirror. Without many of us even realizing it something incredible happens next. In that moment when the agency that resides behind our eyes meets the stare of the flat image on the pane of glass (http://bit.ly/2MjlFks) in front of us we recognize ourselves, understand we are part of humanity and feel our sense of self-awareness (http://bit.ly/2Mj9Mef) which is underpinned by an intimate, if mostly unarticulated, understanding of self-esteem (http://bit.ly/2sBcF13).
Just in case you’re starting to feel special, all this is something we share, in most part, with monkeys (http://bit.ly/2sKpK8B), pigeons (http://bit.ly/2szTTax) and crows (http://bit.ly/2sCiJ9O). In psychology this is known as the mirror test (http://bit.ly/2MjAF1U) and many higher-functioning animals seem to pass it (http://bit.ly/2MoYntG).
Self-awareness is a action that involves the construction of mental models of representation that are, to some extent at least, constructed out of our understanding of others’ understanding of us (http://bit.ly/2sDCxcQ) – and I pause here to let you think about that for a moment.
Reflections, it would appear, are an integral part of how the brain sees the world and then sees itself seeing the world. (http://bit.ly/2sCXJzA) So, our morning ritual, mundane as it may at first seem, is part of a more complex process of waking up and relocating our sense of who we are, what we want and how we will get it, back within our body.
Self-esteem (http://bit.ly/2sCkIuv) is a sense of the value we place on ourself. That value then determines the effort we are willing to make to protect that self from harm and possible loss, cultivate it further, help it develop and take steps that lead to a journey that is meaningful.
Self-reflection (http://bit.ly/2szYQ2X) is a process. Self-awareness still ambiguous (http://bit.ly/2MmI947) as far as definitions go. Yet, bit by bit we are chipping away at the mystery of our selfhood (http://bit.ly/2MmQyo1). We are beginning to understand the limits of self-awareness and selfhood, particularly in cases of damaged brains (http://bit.ly/2MjD4ts).
Awareness (http://bit.ly/2Mjehp9) is more than consciousness. It is the application of cognitive processes in the analysis of situational context (http://bit.ly/2DRoGWT) in an intentional capacity that can lead to further growth (http://bit.ly/2MmPksU). In The Sniper Mind (https://amzn.to/2MiuB9G) self-knowledge is revealed to be a cornerstone of the identity we create for ourselves.
Our morning ritual in the bathroom mirror is a multi-faceted process that forces us to construct complex answers to the simple question of “who is looking back at us?” It precipitates a process of self-reflection which demands us to define everything that we think and feel is real.
You have coffee. You should also have donuts, cookies, croissants and chocolate cake. It is the weekend. So, have an awesome Sunday, wherever you are.
